What It Will Take for Quantum Computers to Turbocharge Machine Learning
You might ask, What is Quantum Computing? In simple terms, where AI can find trends and patterns in existing data, quantum computing will find solutions where there are no patterns to be found. It will do what classical computing simply can’t-do.
“Quantum computers could give the machine learning algorithms at the heart of modern artificial intelligence a dramatic speed up, but how far off are we? ” Google says it is close. By the end of 2017, they will have a chip that will allow them to do so.
While Google has their solution, so does Microsoft and IBM. Check out IBM’s Quantum Computing Processors.
